Welcome to the White Horse Alternative Therapy website, a resource for people interested in animal health and the application of alternative therapeutic models to the maintenance of animal health.

The WHAT site is interested in all form of physical therapy for animals - chiropractic, osteopathy, Bowen Therapy, EMRT and physiotherapy - as well as other complementary therapies like homoeopathy, herbal medicine, natural healing, acupuncture, energy medicine and nutrition. With a lifelong history in the field of alternative and complementary therapies we have experience of their use in many equine and canine disciplines - racing, eventing, dressage and long distance riding in horses and agility, racing, showing and working dogs and we have a particular interest in problems of movement from minor gait abnormalities to severe lameness. We are also champions of the use of spinal treatment for preventative care and maintenance in animals.

Please note: Since Tony Gilmore's resignation from the General Chiropractic Councils Register of Practitioners neither of the WHAT team are chiropractors. The title chiropractor is protected by law and, whilst we continue to treat using the techniques we have used successfully for over thirty years, we are no longer chiropractors.
